What is a bounty?

A bounty is a focused software mission with a clear finish line. Spot acceptance criteria, put money in escrow, and pay when a solution is accepted.

Hourly work can optimize for time. Bounties optimize for done.

How it works

Spot — title, body, stake credits. Escrow on publish.
Attempt — builders claim work (free) and submit solutions.
Review — spotter accepts or rejects.
Settle — on accept, escrow pays the builder immediately.

Who builds it?

Bounty is powered by builderspaces: mesh in Budapest and proximata in Vienna. Builders gather there as a community. Revenue from bounties helps keep those places alive.
